Sparks flew during Madonna's Wednesday night concert in Miami - and they had nothing to do with fancy pyrotechnics.
As Madge crooned and gyrated her way through the ``Sticky & Sweet'' set list, she had eyes only for A-Rod, who beamed lovingly from the front row, concert-goers said. The show of affection has tongues wagging that the ``Material Girl'' is indeed romancing New York Yankees power hitter Alex Rodriguez.
The 50-year-old pop queen got teary-eyed as she sang ``You Must Love Me,'' fixing her gaze on A-Rod, 34, who sat squeezed between Rod Stewart and Madge's manager, Guy Oseary, the New York Daily News reported.
Later, things heated up when Madonna danced suggestively in the slugger's direction, throwing him a few choice winks.
He smiled and cheered back at her, and after her second song of the night handed the sweaty singer a bottle of water.
``It was easy for him to hand it off because he was sitting in the front row,'' a concert-goer told E! News. ``He was all excited watching her perform.''
This brazen display of affection adds fuel to the already flaming rumors that Madge left her husband of eight years - British movie director Guy Ritchie - for the New York boy toy, who is currently divorcing his own wife and baby-momma, Cynthia.
While fans and gossip-hounds alike speculated on whether the superstar duo would spend Thanksgiving Day together, the Daily News reported that A-Rod was expected to feast with Cynthia and daughters, Natasha, 4, and Ella, 1.
Madonna has allegedly introduced Rodriguez to friends, including Gwyneth Paltrow.
