Apr. 19, 2009 (Baseball Musings delivered by Newstex ) -- Carl Pavano gets the moral victory but the Yankees walk away with the win as they defeat the Indians 7-3. Pavano pitched well, allowing just one run over six innings against the team for which he occasionally pitched. The Indians bullpen was a different story, however, as they allowed a pinch-hit home run to Jorge Posada and a bases loaded double to Cody Ransom. Posadas home run was questionable, and Wedge thought it was interference. The umps went to the video tape, and from what I heard on the radio, it hit a wall, a fan, then the fielders glove. With three home runs in the game, the Yankees set a record for most home runs in the first four games at a new stadium, 20.
