--LF Johnny Damon continued his hot streak with a timely hit, helping the Yankees rally with a home run in the seventh inning of their 5-3 win over the Orioles on Sunday. Damon smacked a two-out, two-run homer to push the Yankees ahead. He has 12 hits in his last 26 at-bats and has driven in 13 runs during that span.
--RHP Joba Chamberlain continued his trend of getting off to a shaky start and then settling down -- and also inspired some imitation of his fist-pumping gestures on the mound. Chamberlain yielded three runs in the first, including an Aubrey Huff home run that ended with Huff pumping his fist a la Chamberlain, but then pitched scoreless ball through the sixth to pick up his second win. "For me, it's just in good fun," Huff told reporters after. "I always told the guys that if I get him, I'm going to give him a nice fist pump. For me it wasn't really showing anybody up." Chamberlain, who had been questionable after popping a blood vessel in his right thumb Saturday, has now posted a 13.50 ERA in the first inning of his starts and a 3.89 overall mark. MEDICAL WATCH:

C Jose Molina (strained left quadriceps) went on the 15-day disabled list May 8.
C Jorge Posada (strained right hamstring) went on the 15-day disabled list May 5.
LHP Damaso Marte (left shoulder soreness) went on the 15-day disabled list May 3.
RHP Brian Bruney (sore right elbow) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 22. He is unlikely to return before late May.
RHP Chien-Ming Wang (hip weakness) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 19 with an ailment connected to the season-ending Lisfranc foot injury he suffered last year. He pitched May 2 in extended spring training.
3B Cody Ransom (right quadriceps tear) went on the 60-day disabled list April 26.
OF Xavier Nady (sore right elbow) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 15. He will try to rehab the injury without surgery.
DH Hideki Matsui (left knee surgery in September 2008) won't play in the field before June.
